Thank You, Ngaira and Keith
Our neighbors Ngaira and Keith invited us over for an authentic Kiwi dinner. We had an excellent meal of whitebait fritters, fish pie, silver beet, asparagus, carrots, and of course pavlova. And in true Kiwi tradition, we were also treated to a healthy dollop of dinner table sarcasm (we’re looking your way, Ngaira).
Thanks for a great evening, and I hope I don’t get in trouble like when I failed to publicly mention your New Year’s hospitality 🙂

My mother taught me well, Jim – what goes round comes round, and after the wonderful New Year’s Eve we spent with you, we figured early on in the piece that certain people are attracted to others which is why Keith and I ask you and Angela back here. Mind you, it’s taken you a wee while to cotton onto the reciprocal arrangement thing that is also a New Zealand custom, mate!!!!!!
P.S. did ya notice the restraint of the anvil-type of subtlety?? Did ya? Did Ya??
